SpiBio

SpiBio was a French biotechnology company specializing in the development and commercialization of immunoassay kits and reagents for the life sciences industry. Founded as a spin-off from the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA), the company gained international recognition for its proprietary Enzyme Immunoassay (EIA) technology based on acetylcholinesterase. Its product portfolio focused on biomarkers for inflammation, oxidative stress, and metabolic diseases, including eicosanoids and neuropeptides. Following its acquisition by Bertin Technologies in 2002, the company's operations were integrated into Bertin Pharma and subsequently rebranded as Bertin Bioreagent.
