Spinus was a private U.S. medical device company focused on surgical devices for spine, orthopedic, and neurologic procedures. The company developed and supplied instruments, implants, and related technologies intended to improve outcomes for patients with neck, back, and leg pain, including products for minimally invasive spine surgery. Public and company-profile sources describe Spinus as having FDA-cleared spinal products and a portfolio of proprietary surgical tools. Spinus was founded in 2017 in Temple, Texas and was acquired by Ozop Surgical on February 16, 2018. It appears to have subsequently operated as a division of Ozop Surgical rather than as an independent standalone company.
