Spruce Biosciences is a U.S.-based rare disease biopharmaceutical company focused on developing and commercializing therapies for serious underserved neurological disorders. The company has shifted its strategic focus from endocrine disease programs to tralesinidase alfa enzyme replacement therapy (TA-ERT), an investigational treatment for mucopolysaccharidosis type IIIB (Sanfilippo syndrome type B). Spruce acquired rights to TA-ERT from BioMarin and is pursuing an accelerated approval pathway in the United States, with regulatory interactions and long-term clinical data supporting its lead program.
