Squibb Iran was the Iranian subsidiary of the American pharmaceutical giant E.R. Squibb & Sons, established prior to the 1979 Iranian Revolution. The company operated a significant manufacturing facility in Tehran, producing a variety of pharmaceutical products including antibiotics and general medicines for the local market. Following the revolution, the company's assets were nationalized by the Iranian government. The entity was subsequently renamed Jaber Ebne Hayyan Pharmaceutical Company, which continues to operate today as one of Iran's major pharmaceutical manufacturers.
