St John of God Health Care

St John of God Health Care operates one of the largest private hospital networks in Australia and New Zealand. It provides acute medical/surgical care, maternity, oncology, orthopaedics, mental health (including specialist psychiatric hospitals), rehabilitation services, home nursing (acute/post acute/community), disability support and social outreach programs. In FY2023–24 it treated over 402,000 patients and delivered more than 11,000 babies annually. The group also runs public-private partnership hospitals and allocates revenue to community/youth/mental health/social outreach programs. It employs over 16,500 people across more than two dozen facilities with ~3,300 beds. No clinical trial or drug development pipeline—focuses on service delivery. Revenue for FY2024 was approximately AUD $2.16 billion.
