Stack Plastics is a California-based custom plastic injection molding and micromolding company serving medical device customers. The company provides fully integrated plastic manufacturing services, including engineering support, micromolding, insert molding, overmolding, ultrasonic or sonic welding, pad printing, assembly, and related production support for thermoplastic and elastomer-based components. Stack has been particularly focused on precision-manufactured parts for global medical device OEMs rather than developing therapeutic drug programs. In January 2021, Stack Plastics was acquired by Springboard Manufacturing, expanding Springboard’s medical products and micromolding capabilities while continuing operations in Menlo Park, California.
