Stadtlander's Pharmacy was a pioneering specialty pharmacy based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, that revolutionized the delivery of medications for chronic and complex conditions. Founded as a neighborhood pharmacy, it expanded significantly in the 1980s and 1990s to focus on high-touch patient care for individuals living with HIV/AIDS, organ transplants, and infertility. The company was a leader in the mail-order specialty drug industry, providing integrated clinical support and reimbursement assistance to patients with life-threatening diseases. Following its acquisition by Bergen Brunswig in 1999, its specialty operations were eventually integrated into what is now CVS Specialty.
