Stage

Stage Cell Therapeutics was a German private biotechnology company focused on enabling cell therapy manufacturing and cell selection technologies. Its core asset was the proprietary Streptamer platform, designed to support rapid development and production of safer and more efficient cell therapeutics, particularly for T-cell based therapies. The company appears to have operated primarily as a platform and enabling-technology business rather than as a developer of a broad proprietary clinical pipeline. Stage was acquired by Juno Therapeutics in May 2015 and was subsequently operated as Juno Therapeutics GmbH, so it is no longer active as an independent company. Through that acquisition, its technology and capabilities became part of Juno's cell therapy manufacturing and process development infrastructure.
