Stanmore Clinical Research Facility

Stanmore Clinical Research Facility was a specialized clinical research organization and facility established as a joint venture between UCL Business PLC and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH). Opened in 2007 and based in Stanmore, North London, the facility provided state-of-the-art infrastructure and clinical expertise for conducting academic and commercial clinical trials. It focused primarily on neuromusculoskeletal and orthopaedic indications, including conditions like osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, and spinal cord injuries. The facility served as a world-class resource for pharmaceutical and medical device companies to fulfill their clinical research requirements before being dissolved in 2010.
