Company intelligence / Profile preview
StatRad is a U.S. teleradiology and medical imaging technology company that provides 24/7/365 remote interpretation of medical images for radiology groups, hospitals, and other healthcare providers. Founded in 1995 in San Diego, the company built a proprietary cloud-based workflow and image management platform to support rapid, high-quality radiology reads and related clinical operations. StatRad’s services are delivered by a network of U.S.-based, board-certified radiologists and are focused on after-hours, overflow, subspecialty, and emergency imaging coverage. The company historically also operated under the corporate name NucleusHealth before reverting to StatRad in 2022 after divesting certain image-management technology assets. In July 2024, StatRad was acquired by I-MED Radiology Network, giving I-MED an entry point into the U.S. teleradiology market while StatRad continues operating as an active business.
