STEM Leadership Center

The STEM Leadership Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming science education and developing the future STEM workforce. Founded in 2013 by science educator Lawrence Perretto, the center specializes in bridging the gap between classroom instruction and professional scientific practice through innovative teacher fellowships and youth programs. Its flagship initiative, the Regeneron STEM Teaching Fellowship, is a collaboration with Regeneron Pharmaceuticals and Columbia University that provides educators with hands-on research experience and advanced pedagogical training. The center operates primarily in New York and Tennessee, focusing on empowering teachers and students in underserved communities to excel in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
