Stericool

Stericool was a Turkish medical device company focused on low-temperature sterilization systems for healthcare settings. The company manufactured hydrogen peroxide-based low-temperature sterilizers used for sterilizing heat- and moisture-sensitive medical instruments, particularly for emerging markets. Founded in 2008 and based in Ankara, Turkey, Stericool operated a headquarters and manufacturing site there prior to its acquisition. In December 2015, Getinge acquired Stericool to expand its infection control and sterile reprocessing portfolio. Since the acquisition, Stericool technology and products have been marketed under the Getinge Stericool brand rather than as an independent operating biotech or pharma company.
