pdSTIM System
Phase 3- Indications
- Ventilator-induced diaphragmatic dysfunction
Company intelligence / Profile preview
Stimdia Medical has developed the pdSTIM System, a minimally invasive neurostimulation device designed to facilitate weaning from mechanical ventilation by stimulating the phrenic nerve to recondition the diaphragm. The system is currently being evaluated in an FDA-approved pivotal clinical trial ("ReInvigorate Study") with endpoints focused on reducing time to liberation from mechanical ventilation. Early first-in-human studies have been completed and published; full pivotal results are pending. The pdSTIM System received FDA Breakthrough Device designation in March 2021.
