Company intelligence / Profile preview
StimGuard was a private U.S. medical device company developing wirelessly powered, injectable microtechnology neurostimulators for urologic disorders. The company focused primarily on minimally invasive tibial nerve stimulation for overactive bladder, with its lead product Protect PNS positioned as an office-based, drug-free neuromodulation therapy. In April 2020, StimGuard changed its corporate name to Micron Medical as it prepared for commercialization. In July 2021, Uro Medical acquired Micron Medical’s urology-based assets, including the Protect PNS program and related clinical studies. As a result, StimGuard no longer appears to operate as an independent company.
