Stormont Vail Health operates as a nonprofit integrated health system, providing acute care, specialty care, and primary care services across northeast Kansas. It includes two hospitals (586-bed in Topeka and a 92-bed facility in Junction City), a large multi-specialty physician group (Cotton O’Neil Clinic), and more than thirty-five additional locations. The organization offers comprehensive services including trauma, neonatal intensive care, cancer treatment, heart care, diabetes/endocrinology, digestive health, pediatrics, and more. It has been recognized as a Magnet® organization for nursing excellence since 2009 and partners with the Mayo Clinic Care Network and Children’s Mercy Topeka.
