Straub Benioff Medical Center

Straub Benioff Medical Center is a fully integrated, not-for-profit healthcare provider in Honolulu, Hawaii, operating a 159-bed medical center, neighborhood clinics, and a statewide visiting specialist program. Founded in 1921 by Dr. George F. Straub as "The Clinic," it evolved from a physician group practice into a hospital and multispecialty care network. The organization delivers inpatient, outpatient, urgent, and specialty care across more than 32 medical specialties, with recognized strengths in burn care, cardiovascular care, orthopedics, oncology, endocrinology/diabetes, gastroenterology, vascular care, and primary care. Straub is the Pacific region's only multidisciplinary burn care unit and has been an affiliate of Hawaii Pacific Health since December 21, 2001. In 2024, following a major philanthropic gift from Lynne and Marc Benioff, the South King Street campus was renamed Straub Benioff Medical Center.
