Summit Institute for Development

Summit Institute for Development is an Indonesia-based nonprofit health organization focused on maternal and child health, nutrition, and digital transformation of primary healthcare. The organization emerged from the SUMMIT program and works with government and health-system partners to translate evidence into community-level implementation. Its current activities include multiple micronutrient supplementation programs, AI-enabled and FHIR-based digital health initiatives, HPV awareness and testing efforts, and genomic/biomedical research capacity building. SID appears to operate more like a public-health implementation and digital-health nonprofit than a traditional drug-development biotech company, with no evidence of a therapeutic product pipeline or proprietary clinical drug candidates. Its work is centered in Indonesia, especially around strengthening Puskesmas and broader primary care delivery systems.
