Sunlight Supply was a premier manufacturer and distributor of specialty indoor gardening, hydroponic, and lighting supplies in North America. Founded in 1995 and headquartered in Vancouver, Washington, the company became a dominant force in the hydroponics market, serving both hobbyists and large-scale commercial growers. In 2018, it was acquired by the Hawthorne Gardening Company, a subsidiary of The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company, for approximately $450 million. The merger combined Sunlight Supply's extensive distribution network and proprietary 'Sun System' lighting brand with Hawthorne's existing portfolio to create a comprehensive supplier for the professional cannabis and indoor farming industries.
