Company intelligence / Profile preview
Superflex developed a wearable powered clothing platform designed to enhance strength, mobility, and physical function. The technology originated from SRI International’s work on the DARPA-funded Warrior Web project for military use but was spun out to address civilian needs such as elderly mobility and physical disabilities. As of late 2016, the company had raised $9.6 million in Series A funding to further develop its product for commercial release targeting seniors, athletes, and people with disabilities. No clinical trial data or regulatory approvals were reported in public sources as of that time.
