Superscape Group was a pioneering technology company specializing in 3D graphics software and virtual reality (VR) solutions. Originally founded as Dimension International, the company developed the Superscape Virtual Reality Toolkit (VRT), which became a foundational platform for creating interactive 3D environments on personal computers. While the company gained significant recognition in the mobile gaming and industrial simulation sectors, its technology was extensively utilized in the life sciences for medical training, surgical simulation, and biological education. Led for several years by prominent biotechnology executive Dr. John Chiplin, Superscape was a key player in the early adoption of VR for healthcare applications before being acquired by Glu Mobile in 2008.
