SyMap’s msRDN system (SyMapCath I and SymPioneer S1) has been approved in China as a Class III medical device for adjunctive treatment of drug-resistant hypertension. The SMART pivotal trial demonstrated that the msRDN therapy reduced antihypertensive drug burden and controlled office systolic blood pressure to below 140 mm Hg with only four targeted ablations per renal artery. The Elation™ system is being evaluated in a pivotal study for severe asthma via bronchial radiofrequency ablation.
