Company intelligence / Profile preview
Symetis was a Swiss structural heart medtech company focused on minimally invasive transcatheter aortic valve implantation systems for patients with severe symptomatic aortic stenosis. Its core products were the ACURATE TA and ACURATE neo/TF valve systems, and it was also developing the next-generation ACURATE neo/AS platform. The company developed, manufactured, and marketed heart valve replacement devices and related delivery systems, primarily for markets in Europe and other geographies outside the United States. Symetis was acquired by Boston Scientific in May 2017 and integrated into Boston Scientific's Interventional Cardiology division. It should therefore be viewed as a historical standalone company rather than an active independent business today.
