Company intelligence / Profile preview
Symphony Icon Holdings was established in 2007 as a product-development collaboration to accelerate development of Lexicon's early-stage serotonin synthesis inhibitors. LX1031 demonstrated positive results in Phase II trials for diarrhea-predominant and mixed forms of irritable bowel syndrome, while LX1032 was in Phase II studies for carcinoid syndrome and LX1033 was in IND-enabling studies. Lexicon reacquired all rights to these programs from Symphony Icon through restructured purchase options in 2011 and 2016[8][10].
