Synaptiq Therapeutics

Synaptiq Therapeutics is a privately held clinical-stage biotechnology company launched in 2026 to advance SYN-001, a therapeutic candidate for neuropsychiatric symptoms associated with 22q11.2 deletion syndrome (22q11DS). The company was formed in connection with the acquisition of Nobias Therapeutics' NB-001 program, which was renamed SYN-001. SYN-001 is a non-stimulant small-molecule activator of multiple metabotropic glutamate receptors and has received FDA Orphan Drug Designation and Rare Pediatric Disease Designation.
