Overview
Synartro's lead asset, SYN321, is in a Phase 1/2a trial to evaluate safety, tolerability, systemic exposure, and preliminary efficacy in symptomatic knee osteoarthritis. The study aims to demonstrate rapid and sustained pain relief with fewer systemic side effects than standard therapies, leveraging the local conjugation of diclofenac to hyaluronic acid for direct joint injection. As of mid-2025, the first-in-human study is starting or ongoing.
