Synovics Labs is a pharmaceutical company specializing in the development and manufacturing of generic drug products. The company focused on oral solid dosage forms and provided contract manufacturing services for over-the-counter and prescription medications. In 2008, its parent company, Synovics Pharmaceuticals, was acquired by Aurobindo Pharma, a global generic pharmaceutical leader. This acquisition allowed Aurobindo to expand its manufacturing footprint in the United States and integrate Synovics' product portfolio into its broader commercial operations.
