Company intelligence / Profile preview
Synprosis was recognized for its expertise in the chemical synthesis of peptides and proteins used in therapeutic applications, particularly synthetic vaccines for HIV, malaria, cancer, allergies, neurodegenerative diseases, and pain. The company’s proprietary technology enabled higher yields at lower costs compared to traditional methods. In June 2014, Synprosis was acquired by Provence Technologies Group and now operates as the pharmaceutical-standard production division under the name Provepep. No direct clinical results are attributed to Synprosis itself since it functioned primarily as a contract manufacturer/service provider.
