Company intelligence / Profile preview
Synthase Collaborative is a Florida-based nonprofit healthcare collaborative formed in 2021 to unite community-based hospice, palliative care, and other post-acute and home-based care organizations under a shared operating structure. Rather than developing drugs, the organization focuses on care delivery, resource optimization, payer relations, and scaling access to compassionate serious-illness and end-of-life services while member organizations remain locally governed and operationally independent. Founding members include Avow Hospice, Haven Hospice, St. Francis Reflections Lifestage Care, and Treasure Coast Hospice, and the group has described itself as serving more than 2,200 patients daily across Florida. The collaborative has also announced strategic supplier and pharmacy partnerships, including Medline and Optum Hospice Pharmacy Services, to support clinical operations and purchasing efficiency. In September 2024, Synthase announced a merger with Southern Care Collaborative to create a broader regional nonprofit post-acute and home-based care group spanning four states.
