Synthematix was a chemistry informatics company that provided software solutions designed to streamline and automate the drug discovery process. The company's flagship product, the Arthur suite, offered tools for reaction planning, electronic laboratory notebooks (ELN), and data management specifically tailored for synthetic and medicinal chemists. By integrating chemical information with experimental data, Synthematix aimed to improve the efficiency of lead optimization and library design. The company was acquired by Symyx Technologies in 2005 to bolster their electronic lab notebook and decision-support offerings. Its technology eventually became part of the BIOVIA brand under Dassault Systèmes.
