T\u00f6nnies is a privately held German food company best known for large-scale pork and beef processing, convenience foods, sausages, ingredients, and cold-chain logistics. Historically known as T\u00f6nnies Group or T\u00f6nnies Holding, the holding-level business began operating under the name Premium Food Group from January 2025. The company is one of the largest meat and food-processing groups in Europe and remains family owned. Its operations span multiple business units including pork, beef, convenience, sausages, ingredients, logistics, and international activities. Although it supplies some animal-derived raw materials into downstream sectors such as pharmaceuticals, it is not a biotech, pharma, or healthcare company.
