Company intelligence / Profile preview
TA Therapeutics was a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on the discovery and development of telomerase activator drugs to treat chronic degenerative and infectious diseases. Established as a joint venture between Geron Corporation and the Biotechnology Research Corporation of Hong Kong, the company specialized in therapies designed to slow or reverse telomere shortening, thereby restoring cellular regenerative capacity. Its lead program, TAT0002, was a small molecule telomerase activator evaluated for its ability to enhance the anti-viral activity of CD8 T-cells in HIV/AIDS patients.
