Company intelligence / Profile preview
Tactic Pharmaceuticals was a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the development of therapies for rare and orphan diseases, most notably Wilson disease. The company's lead product candidate, TTM-611, was a novel oral formulation of trientine tetrahydrochloride designed to act as a copper-chelating agent. Tactic operated as a lean, virtual organization and was founded by a team of experienced biopharmaceutical executives. In 2012, the company sold its primary assets, including the rights to TTM-611, to Valeant Pharmaceuticals (now Bausch Health). Following the divestiture of its lead program, Tactic Pharmaceuticals ceased active operations.
