Taiyuan Yingze Kaiyuan Pharmaceutical Research Institute was a specialized research entity located in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, China. Founded in 1992, the institute focused on the research and development of innovative treatments for chronic skin diseases, particularly psoriasis. It was established by Zhang Kaiyuan, a prominent figure in Chinese dermatological research, and served as the scientific precursor to the commercial entity Shanxi Kaiyuan Pharmaceutical. The institute's work combined traditional Chinese medicinal principles with modern pharmaceutical research to produce the Kaiyuan series of dermatological products. Although the institute is now formally deregistered, its research contributions continue to influence the product portfolio of its successor companies.
