Company intelligence / Profile preview
Talix was a U.S.-based healthcare IT company focused on risk adjustment, quality, and oncology workflow software for payers, providers, and other healthcare organizations. Its cloud-based platform used natural language processing, machine learning, and proprietary clinical taxonomy technology to extract insights from structured and unstructured patient data and support value-based care operations. Key products included Coding InSight and Chart InSight, which were designed to improve coding accuracy, chart retrieval, reimbursement workflows, and quality performance. Talix was founded in 2015 in San Francisco and operated commercially prior to being acquired by Edifecs in September 2021. Following the acquisition, Talix has generally been presented as part of Edifecs rather than as an independent operating company.
