Tasker Capital, later known as Tasker Products Corp, was a life sciences company that developed and commercialized patented, pH-based antimicrobial technologies. The company's primary focus was on creating non-toxic, highly acidic solutions designed to eliminate harmful pathogens such as E. coli, Salmonella, and Listeria in food processing and healthcare environments. Their flagship product, Tasker Blue, was marketed as a safe alternative to traditional chemical disinfectants for use in the poultry and meat industries. In addition to food safety, the company explored applications in personal care and dermatology, leveraging its unique acidified platform. Despite achieving commercial sales and a public listing, the company faced significant financial hurdles and ultimately filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2009.
