Teal Health has developed the first FDA-approved at-home self-sampling device for cervical cancer screening—the Teal Wand™. Clinical studies demonstrated that samples collected with the device are as accurate as clinician-collected samples. The company’s approach combines this innovative diagnostic with a telehealth support platform to increase access and adherence to life-saving screenings among women who are currently underserved by traditional clinic-based care. Over $23 million in funding has been raised to date from leading investors. The product launches commercially in June 2025 starting in California before expanding nationwide.
