Tealeaf Technology was a leading provider of customer experience management (CEM) and digital analytics software, primarily known for its ability to capture and replay individual user sessions on websites and mobile applications. While not a life sciences or biotech company in the traditional sense, its solutions were widely adopted by healthcare providers, pharmaceutical companies, and health insurance organizations to optimize digital patient portals, improve online enrollment processes, and ensure regulatory compliance in digital interactions. The company's technology allowed organizations to identify and resolve technical obstacles or usability issues that prevented users from completing critical online tasks. Tealeaf was acquired by IBM in 2012 and subsequently integrated into the IBM Watson Customer Engagement portfolio before being sold to Acoustic in 2019.
