Company intelligence / Profile preview
Technology Park Malaysia was a Malaysian government-linked company that operated a science and technology park in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur and provided incubation, infrastructure, R&D support, and commercialisation services for knowledge-based companies. It was not a dedicated biotech or pharmaceutical developer; rather, it supported a broad innovation ecosystem that included sectors such as life sciences, healthtech, AI, robotics, and other deep-tech fields. The organisation also had biotech-related capabilities through subsidiaries and facilities such as TPM Biotech and incubation centres, but the parent entity itself functioned primarily as an innovation-enablement and park-management organisation. In November 2021, Technology Park Malaysia and MaGIC were merged to form MRANTI, which now serves as Malaysia's central research commercialisation agency. As a result, Technology Park Malaysia is best understood as a former standalone operating entity whose activities have been absorbed into MRANTI.
