Technophar is a Canadian manufacturer of softgel and related capsule production equipment serving the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and health and wellness industries. The company supplies soft-gelatin capsule machines, auxiliary equipment, tooling, turnkey production solutions, technical support, training, commissioning, and maintenance services. Technophar operates from Windsor, Ontario, with additional manufacturing sites in Romania, and markets itself as a global supplier of softgel manufacturing technology. It is not a drug developer; rather, it provides the machinery and process expertise used by companies that manufacture softgel products. Technophar became part of the Roquette group through Roquette’s October 24, 2023 acquisition of Qualicaps, Technophar’s parent company.
