Techshot

Techshot was a U.S. commercial space biotechnology company that developed hardware and services for biological research and biomanufacturing in microgravity. Its products included the 3D BioFabrication Facility for tissue manufacturing in space, the Advanced Space Experiment Processor, the Multi-use Variable-gravity Platform, and a Bone Densitometer used in in-orbit research on osteoporosis and muscle wasting. The company served researchers and commercial customers working on regenerative medicine, pharmaceutical and biologics research, and space bioscience payloads. Techshot was acquired by Redwire on November 1, 2021 and its capabilities were integrated into Redwire’s microgravity research and manufacturing business.
