Tecnol Medical Products was a U.S. medical products company focused on the design, manufacture, and sale of disposable medical products. Its product portfolio included face masks, ice packs, orthopedic products, patient safety restraints, and related hospital and patient-care supplies. The company operated from Fort Worth, Texas and was publicly traded under the ticker TCNL before being acquired. In September 1997, Kimberly-Clark acquired Tecnol Medical Products, after which the company ceased operating as an independent public entity. Tecnol was a commercial-stage healthcare products business rather than a therapeutic drug-development biotech company.
