Company intelligence / Profile preview
Teleradiology Diagnostic Service (TDS) was a California-based provider of professional teleradiology services, specializing in off-hours and emergency diagnostic interpretations. Founded in 1997 by Dr. Wilson Wong, the company served numerous hospitals and radiology groups by providing remote preliminary and final reads for CT, MRI, and X-ray images. TDS utilized a proprietary clinical workflow technology to streamline the transmission and reporting of radiological data. In February 2007, the company was acquired by NightHawk Radiology Holdings for approximately $23.8 million to expand its domestic reading capabilities. Following the acquisition, TDS was integrated into NightHawk's operations, which were later acquired by Virtual Radiologic (vRad).
