Terumo Penpol

Terumo Penpol is an India-based medical device manufacturer focused on blood collection, blood processing, transfusion, and apheresis-related products for blood centers and hospitals. The company originated as Peninsula Polymers in 1983, began manufacturing in 1987, and became Terumo Penpol after entering a joint venture with Terumo Corporation in 1999. It is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Terumo Corporation and operates as part of the Terumo blood management franchise. Its portfolio includes blood bags, blood collection and donor station equipment, blood processing systems, storage solutions, transfusion sets, apheresis disposables and systems, and selected cell therapy-related technologies. Terumo Penpol also maintains in-house R&D and manufacturing capabilities in India supporting disposable products, medical equipment, materials development, and global product development programs.
