Texas Research and Technology Foundation

The Texas Research and Technology Foundation (TRTF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to driving economic development in the bioscience and technology sectors of San Antonio and South Texas. Founded in 1984, TRTF manages the Texas Research Park and operates VelocityTX, an innovation hub that provides incubation, funding, and accelerator programs for early-stage life science companies. The foundation also manages the McDermott Legacy Fund to provide venture capital to promising startups in the region. By fostering collaboration between academia, industry, and government, TRTF aims to establish San Antonio as a global leader in healthcare and bioscience innovation.
