TGen Foundation

The Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen) is a non-profit biomedical research institute dedicated to conducting groundbreaking research with various genetic components of common and complex diseases. Based in Phoenix, Arizona, TGen focuses on helping patients with neurological disorders, cancer, diabetes, and infectious diseases through the use of genomic sequencing and precision medicine. In 2016, TGen formed an affiliation with City of Hope, creating a powerhouse in precision medicine to accelerate the speed at which biological insights are converted into clinical therapies. The institute operates several specialized centers, including the Pathogen Genomics Division and the Center for Rare Childhood Disorders. TGen's research model emphasizes collaborative partnerships with clinical providers to bring precision medicine directly to the patient's bedside.
