TGH Ventures

TGH Ventures is the corporate venture capital and innovation arm of Tampa General Hospital, created to identify, partner with and invest in emerging healthcare companies. Originally launched as Tampa General Hospital InnoVentures, the organization now operates under the TGH Ventures brand and combines direct venture investing with internal innovation programs such as Co-Lab and IdeaHQ. Its focus is on healthcare delivery, digital health, care orchestration, remote monitoring, clinician operations, healthcare IT and other technologies that improve affordability, access, convenience and patient outcomes. TGH Ventures does not position itself as a therapeutics developer and explicitly notes that it does not invest in biotech or pharmaceuticals. The group also serves as a strategic bridge between startups and a large academic health system, helping portfolio companies collaborate with Tampa General Hospital as a clinical and operational partner.
