Overview

A real-world study published in the Journal of Clinical Microbiology demonstrated that AtbFinder enabled physicians to select more effective antibiotic therapies for severe lung infections caused by multidrug-resistant bacteria. This led to eradication of highly resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa, reduced hospitalizations, decreased systemic antibiotic use by half, and improved overall outcomes for cystic fibrosis patients. The technology uniquely targets the entire microbial community at infection sites rather than just lead pathogens
