Thaco Agri

Thaco Agri was established in 2019 as part of the multi-industry conglomerate THACO. It focuses on integrated large-scale agricultural production across Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia covering 84,000 hectares. The company operates circular agriculture models combining crop cultivation (banana, pineapple, durian, mango) with livestock farming including cattle breeding and pig farming. It invests heavily in R&D centers applying biotechnology techniques to improve productivity and biosecurity. The firm produces organic-based fresh fruits and processed products mainly for export markets such as China, Japan, South Korea generating significant revenue (~$85 million export revenue reported). It also supports employee healthcare through partnerships with medical institutions but does not itself operate as a healthcare or pharmaceutical entity.
