The Art of Discovery (TAD) is a private biotechnology company based in Spain, specializing in the discovery and development of innovative small molecule drugs. Founded in 2010 by former GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) researchers, the company focuses on therapeutic areas with high unmet needs, including Central Nervous System (CNS) disorders, rare diseases, and chronic pain. TAD utilizes a proprietary drug discovery platform that combines phenotypic screening with advanced target identification techniques to develop candidates with improved safety profiles. Their lead program, TAD-01, is being developed for the treatment of Wolfram syndrome, a rare genetic disorder.
