The Center for the Self in Schools

The Center for the Self in Schools is a non-profit organization and think tank dedicated to enhancing the psychological, socio-emotional, and physical well-being of students in K-16 education. Co-founded by Dr. Henry G. Brzycki and Elaine J. Brzycki as an outreach initiative of The Brzycki Group, the center provides evidence-based mental health and wellness products, including the "Mental Health for All Toolkit" and the "Integrated Self (iSelf) Model." Its mission focuses on the proactive prevention of mental illness by integrating self-awareness and social-emotional learning (SEL) into educational curricula. The organization offers specialized counseling, consulting, and teacher training programs designed to foster healthy neural integration and student empowerment. Through its research and advocacy, the center aims to transform school environments into sources of positive psychological health.
